Across the nation, there is a critical need for children/students to possess and live by morals or values - standards that everyone should have about what is good or bad. A national survey sponsored by the Close Up Foundation found that the nation’s high school students want leaders who have and exhibit character. Specifically, they desire a leader who cares about all people, is consistent in his or her beliefs, and has high ethical values. In a study by Who’s Who Among American High School Students, half of all students polled indicated the number one problem facing their generation is the decline in social and moral values.

Involvement in sports is an excellent way for the youth of today to learn about character development. Diamond Starz is committed upholding and teaching positive character traits to every young athlete who enters and trains within our facility. We are committed to providing these young adults with positive role models and leaders. We know that only a very few will ever make it to the collegiate level or beyond. However we know for certain that each and every young athlete will become a citizen in our communities and it is for this reason we are dedicated to helping shape these young athletes into outstanding and responsible young men and women.

Diamond Starz has teamed up with the Fellowsip of Christian Athletes (FCA) organization to provide a basis for developing character and moral standards in young athletes. The FCA is a sports focused ministry that has been around since 1954. The Fellowship of Christian Athletes is touching millions of lives... one heart at a time. Since 1954, the fellowship of Christian Athletes has been challenging coaches and athletes on the professional, college, high school, junior high and youth levels to use the powerful medium of athletics to impact the world for Jesus Christ. FCA is the largest Christian sports organization in America. FCA focuses on serving local communities by equipping, empowering and encouraging people to make a difference for Christ. At Diamond Starz we have instructors and coaches who are commited to developing athletes into Champions On and Off the Field.
